‘Edgar J. Goodspeed, America’s First Papyrologist’ published

Number 8 in the series has been published. It is the joint work of papyrologists Todd M. Hickey and James G. Keenan entitled Edgar J. Goodspeed, America’s First Papyrologist, a sketch of the young scholar’s trip to Europe and the Middle East that included a visit in early 1900 to Grenfell and Hunt’s excavation at Tebtunis and a visit to Oxford that summer to work on preparing the edition of some Tebtunis papyri that appeared in P.Tebt.
