We are pleased to announce that we are already working on reissuing two valuable works whose authors have decided to support open access to a digital version of their books. We hope that another early volume will be our first example of a hybrid work, with a book portion and additional material presented online only.
- Digital conversion of Leslie Kurke, The Traffic in Praise: Pindar and the Poetics of Social Economy (Cornell University Press 1991; out-of-print). The Press has relinquished rights to this work to the author, and Leslie Kurke wishs to make it available, with minor corrections, under the open-access model. This volume was published August 5, 2013.
- Digital conversion of Edward Courtney, A Commentary on the Satires of Juvenal (Athlone Press 1980, out-of-print). The Press has relinquished rights to this work to the author, and Ted Courtney wishes to make it available, with minor corrections, under the open-access model. This volume appeared in October 2013.
- We are actively seeking our first hybrid project (one that will have a POD book with additional material on the web only).
